I’m Edel - that’s my attempt at “casual coffeeshop headshot posing”. Nailed it. Hi everyone! This is my FIRST post!! (Can you tell I’m a little excited?) If you’ve ever watched The Simpsons, you’ll know that the character Troy Mc Clure regularly introduces himself with the line “You may know me from….. and seen me in…..” Well, I am not as well known as Troy Mc Clure but some of you MAY have seen me around the Cole’s Classroom or Táve communities - I am a mentor and community engagement specialist for all three of the Foreground brands (Shootproof being the third brand obviously!) So what do I do here? Well - help hopefully! My role is to make sure that the questions you ask go to the right place to get answered, and hopefully, to make this community a fun and inspiring (and educational!) place to be! Feel free to reach out to me if there’s something specific I can help you with, or if there’s an idea or feature within Shootproof you just LOVE and have to share! I’m also super keen to c

All participants who complete the survey will be entered to win one of twenty $100 e-gift cards. Click here to get started.
ShootProof’s product and engineering teams are committed to building the very best version of ShootProof.Listening to our community of photographers is key to ensuring our ongoing efforts are headed in the right direction. This is reflected in our update to our Share Your Ideas section: statuses are receiving an update with more nuanced definitions, the ideas pipeline is easier to view and find ideas for you to vote on, and our team will be in regular communication within the Share Your Ideas section. Our goal is for your voice to be heard and to offer more clear communication back from our team. Before you submit an ideaSearch first, please! When you add an idea that is a duplicate of one already submitted, it is difficult for us to see the idea popularity by Votes. Before submitting an idea, use the search bar on the main page or within Share Your Ideas to see if your idea has already been submitted. As a team, we care deeply about fostering a just, equitable, and inclusive community that reflects and amplifies diverse voices. My colleague Anne said it beautifully on our Instagram this morning: “We aren’t especially good at being anti-racist. Even when we think we are. Even when we try really, really hard. So we paused, and we listened, and we argued, and we cried, and we grew depressed and hopeful and uncertain and empowered in turn. Then we put our big-kid pants on and took action.” With that said, I’d like to share, on behalf of the entire extended ShootProof team, our committments toward building a better future. We’ve established ongoing financial support for Tomayia Colvin Education and The Photo Cookout. Photographers, if you’re looking for a place to start your education, on doing the work, start with this webinar offered June 10th. Our local community is Atlanta, Georgia. We are proud to provide ongoing financial support for Illuminate ATL as they bring art educa
