Tips from client

I had a client want to give a tip but was unable to. Is there a way we can accept tips? She got her invoice and tried to pay more but it wouldn't let her go above the amount on the invoice.

Thanks,

Sunshine

@Sunshine This is an interesting idea I’ve seen discussed in a few different photography forums. Currently, there isn’t a way for your customer to enter a variable amount to pay, but I can bring the request to our team.  Thanks for bringing it up!

I like the idea of this option as well. It would be beneficial as an option for clients.

Thanks,
Matt

I would really love to add a tipping feature to the invoice.  I had clients tip me all the time with the Square Payment platform.  Now that I am using Shootproof for invoices to make my life and my clients lives easier I lose out on that.

@Jay Rodriguez , @Sunshine, and @Matt Specht, I just looked and it looks like tipping capabilities haven’t been submitted to the Ideas section yet. Would one of you go do that and then link it here? We just need 1 post- then others can add their votes to it. 🙌

Here is the link - I’ve added it to the Ideas forum :)

@Sunshine if you’re looking for a way to grab tips in the meantime through Shootproof you could start using addthis.com’s tip jar link into your invoice email templates or gallery templates afterward.
