I need help with the wording on my initial message, which informs my clients that their order for retouched images is ready. I would like to include verbiage that tells my clients that they have XX number of days to notify me of any issues. I have a client who says their images that I retouched are too bright. I believe it’s their monitor, but this made me realize that I should add some terms to how long they have to contact me an issue like this. Note, my clients contacted me 3 months after they downloaded the images to inform me of this issue. Any wordsmiths out there that can help me with this?

I am no wordsmith; however, I’ve been known to bust out an occasional good line here or there You could add something along the lines of….
“As a courtesy to my past, present and future clients, there will be a 30 day grace period for requesting retouches to your final images. This allows me to give my full focus to your images while respecting the time needed for my future clients. In the event that you would want photos retouched after the 30 day period has expired, there will be a charge of $XX.xx per photo to be retouched.”
This is something that should be in your contract when your client books with you, it is a very important detail to help preserve your sanity Let me know if you have questions about setting up contracts, I can help you out with that as well.
