Hi,

I’m looking for ideas on how I can set up a loyalty scheme.

I want to reward my clients for referring new people by offering them money off their next purchase. My initial thought was that I could do it as a discount. The discounts though appear to be only on a set price list and not for all services.

Thanks

Chris

@ChristopherHall you are correct. The discounts on Shootproof’s gallery pricelists will do discounts for printing services, but not for a discount on their photography fee. Are you wanting customers to have a discount code when purchasing a photoshoot with you? That may require a more robust customer management system.

@Carrie Swails thanks for your reply.

I do want the duscount to be on the product level as a session fee would still apply.

Shootproof have confirmed that this cannot be done as they are unable to record the balance left over.

I have also looked at Tave. I can see there is a way of logging credits however can't see a full solution. Think it's going to have to be a spreadsheet for now.

Yeah, I think this idea is a good one, but may not be easy to find in any management system. It might be worthwhile to look at some referral tracking software that could automate spreadsheets at least?

Hi @ChristopherHall

@Carrie Swails pretty much answered your question; however, I would be cautious on using the terminology “Loyalty Scheme”. Scheme sounds like some plan to manipulating clients. It sounds more appropriate to have something like Loyalty Program, or Loyalty Rewards, etc.

Just my opinion I thought I would share :)

Thanks,

I like @Carrie Swails idea of automated spreadsheets.

I’m a fan of a loyalty program or club of sorts for clients based on referrals- I have a different idea to add to this conversation. If you use Mobile Apps, you could add one last image to the app that has a bit of an ad or details about your loyalty program, and then one of the 6 links could be a hidden page on your website that has all the details of your program, including a contact form where  someone can contact you with a blank field asking who referred them. I know that Táve allows you to track which client referred another, but it doesn’t have a way to set up automatic discounts. Do you use Táve as a CRM by chance, @ChristopherHall?

@Megan I do use Tave so will have a look at that as well. Tave also appears to allow you to log credits to a client. Maybe I just need to have play and see what happens.
