Tave and Shootproof Contracts

Is there anyway to use the contractsi purchased in shootproof in Tave. I love how they work in SHootproof ..and I love Tave workflow.. but I cant seem then to use the contract in tave without tons of formatting most likely. and I feel duped paying $200 for a contract i still have piece all together if I use outside shootproof. I dont want to send the contract through shootproof and have the clients portal and invoices on Tave.. or rather how can all this integrate..  If I end up paying 20-25 a month for tave and 10 for the galleries  on shoot proof but its all too pieced out and .. ughhh Im just having a time trying to make all into one smooth process.. email campaigns have to be either one or the other.. triggers/automation each has their good points but nothing seems go together.. differnt payment systems for galleries then sessions a contract from here a portal there. Advice?!  Thanks… Was think maybe jsu ditch Tave and use google drive ( free) to collect info from my form buttons on my squarespace site and manually add to shootproof.. Sqaurespace has scheduling too but havent checked to see how that would integrate either..

UPDATE : OK.. let me clarify now that I have looked into this a little further.. I see you add the contact to shootproof when you use the Tave widget to link or make a gallery a contact will be made.. so then You can do your contract in shootproof then save as a pdf for doc then put in your contract as a doc  in Tave that  they open in their email this is ok.. but wish it worked like the shootproof version when used in there.

Hi @DanyaKurka!

Thank you for sharing your feelings here, and I’m sorry that you feel duped. When you purchase a contract from the ShootProof marketplace, that contract is formatted for ShootProof’s blanks and variables. Once you’ve purchased the contract, you can use it in Táve, but as you’ve noticed, there will be some re-formatting necessary because Táve uses different variables than ShootProof.

Táve is definitely more than just document collection – the reporting is incredible, you can set up workflows and automations, just like you’ve mentioned. We are definitely open to feedback as you’re working between the two platforms, and I appreciate your candid approach. After looking around more, do you have any other questions I can answer?

Hello,

I guess I used a harsh word. I apologize for that. I love the contract ( but will admit I find it expensive I realize it is written by a lawyer, but I thought t would be longer...lol)  Anyway, I have had so many questions as I navigate my new business.. hence trying out shootq which has pros and cons then just using my google workspace, then using Tave.. so I see pros and cons with all. I admit the most challenging thing is price.. as I start it could be months before I see a profit or even scheduling a session as I learn to market and move through the interweb..lol. I love the tools, blog and webinars Shootproof has the music for galleries. One thing wont change I will stay with Shootproof.  Megan thank you for your replies and I look forward to bringing this all togther eventually.

I feel like I purchased Tave because I like Shootproof but there’s no integration? I have to manually import leads between the two, set up contracts between the two (because they have different variables, like you said), and when I share a gallery to a client through ShootProof, Tave doesn’t recognize it. I’m reading all of these forums and realizing there’s very little integration and while ShootProof is great, there are other photography management sites that are all-in-one for the same price or less than paying for Tave & ShootProof.  So while I agree when OP said that maybe “duped” was a little harsh, the product is advertised as integrated, and it’s not.
