Hi, I’ve noticed today my photos will not upload to any of my galleries right now. I’ve confirmed I am not at my storage limit and even deleted some just to make sure it wasn’t close. Any ideas if it’s just down or a bug or something? I’m trying to get a gallery out to a client.
I work with some companies that have separate departments that handle paying an invoice. I need to be able to CC the project manager to approve the invoice along with the accounting department. There is no option for me to add emails when sending an invoice. It only allows 1 email. I have to create a PDF and send it to them via email instead of through shootproof. Is there a away around this that I am missing?

I have a prom group who I would like to do a bulk lab order - ship it to me and then I would disperse to each parent. I am wanting to still let them pay the shipping cost but when I choose “Allow pick-up only” it removes shipping altogether. Why is this? Is there a way to let the client(s) still pay for shipping even on pick-up orders?

Are they ever going to fix the “Send Times” for email campaigns? It is very frustrating to have a campaign scheduled to go out at a certain time within an email that is time sensitive and the campaign is sent out late. No matter the time I set my campaigns they always go out at midnight and often a day late. I’ve tried to call and get this fixed and nothing has worked.
So I am in the process of checking out SP to replace SmugMug and have a few questions:Has anyone integrated SP with CaptureOne? I am using BayPhoto as my lab and they seem to offer more products on the SmugMug side of things, and they seem to offer more options. Will some of these other products be integrated? Is there any mechanism to show a customer online proofs for them to pick their favorites before the final edits are completed? On smugMug, I can purchase prints for myself at cost. Can this be done here too? Thanks

Tip of the Week: Keep your Galleries Secure with Passwords!Tip of the Week
Gallery security basics: Private: If your gallery is "private," only visitors who have the direct link to the gallery will be able to access the gallery. Public: If your gallery is "public," meaning it shows up on your ShootProof Homepage, anyone with the link to your ShootProof Homepage will be able to see that this Active gallery exists. If you have a password on the gallery, only visitors who know the password will be able to enter the gallery when they arrive.Passwords can be used on both Public and Private galleries Pre-release: Pre-Release is an optional gallery setting that will allow visitors to enter their email address prior to the photos being released for viewing and purchasing. ShootProof will collect the visitors' email addresses on your behalf, and they will be visible to you in the 'Gallery Visitors' view of your ShootProof Studio Panel.Active: Active galleries are live and able to be viewed by visitors.Inactive: Inactive galleries are not available for viewing. We usually edit our JPEGS before they are sent out, since most Dance Festival photos need cropping and tweaking. It would be great to be able to send them out from Shootproof, using a standard email, rather than having to construct one for every order. Obviously we would need to re-upload the images.Alternatively, we currently use a dropbox link for the client, so a standard email with the option to past in a dropbox link would save a lot of time.
My wedding clients are expecting about 600 images. I often have several hundred additional images. I’d like to offer those additional images as an upsell when the gallery is delivered. I’m using Linked Contacts and have historically allowed them to download full-resolution of the entire gallery. I like the idea of the client seeing an additional album that is “locked” (password protected), while the remainder of their gallery is fully accessible (viewing and downloading). I want them to see that additional images are available, but they must purchase access to the additional images. How do I do this while preventing the Linked Contact from viewing and downloading the password protected album?
I NEED to be able to assign different price sheets to different albums within a gallery. So important.
As a dog show photographer I like to offer a discount for ordering early but have different prices for different albums...ringside photos/win photos/portraits. The discount is on a cart total incrementally. The only way to do that is to be able to have different price sheets assigned to different albums within the gallery. I will be looking for a place to be able to do that.
I have been with Shootproof for YEARS now. I like many others have requested certain features be integrated (with an additional monthly fee) into shootproof, but I truly feel like nothing has changed. I feel like I will probably be going another direction because my needs are outgrowing the program. A few things MANY of us have requested:downloadable slideshow gallery the ability to upload video booking calendar email triggers, automations integration of a CRM like features right inside of shootproof Integrated brochures (to sell session fees and packages ahead of time) updated mobile apps (you should be able to set up triggers to send after orders have been placed OR certain timeframes and be able to link them to the galleries)I hope some future features will be added into shootproof otherwise I’ll sadly have to say goodbye.
Did You Know? Our Pre-Release feature can boost sales on a gallery...before it's even gone live!Tutorial
Pre-release creates opportunities for you as a photographer to enjoy stress free sales! Pre-Release is an optional gallery setting that will allow visitors to enter their email address prior to the photos being released for viewing and purchasing. ShootProof will collect the visitors' email addresses on your behalf, and they will be visible to you in the 'Gallery Visitors' view of your ShootProof Studio Panel. To set a gallery to pre release: Click settings, and in the general tab, click “Pre-Released” in the gallery access section. If you already know when you plan to release a gallery, go ahead and select that date on the calendar. When you set a gallery release date, the gallery will automatically go live and become available for viewing on that date. In the box titled “Pre-Release Message”, craft a message that visitors will see on the gallery’s intro page whilst it is in pre-release mode. Remember to click save before exiting your gallery settings. Top Tips!At the wedding, disp
Hi ShootproofWe have just discovered that the checkout suddenly is not translated correctly into Danish, when we use it in our galleries. When our customers change the selected country to Denmark, it only translates City and zip code. The country should also be pre-selected. The correct translations are the following(you are welcome):First name: FornavnLast name: EfternavnCountry: LandAdress: AdresseApartment, Suite, ect. : NummerCity: ByZipcode: Postnummer We are awaiting the changes, as it looks really unprofessional to out customers as it is right now.
I did photos for a school with about 50 families. I have created an album for each class with a sub-album for each student. I am offering print and digital options for purchase. I want to self-fulfill the print options so I can place one bulk order. I would love for the digital purchases to go automatically if possible, but it’s not essential. My biggest concern is that parents are able to order their student’s album, and that I will know which album they have purchased. (This is my first time doing orders that are not for a single client.)I guess my questions are:Is it possible for the purchase of a digital download to be automatically sent to the purchaser? Will I receive information on which specific digital sub-album was purchased?I really don’t want to send this out and “hope for the best”; I want the process to be seamless for these families. Thanks!!
Hi there,I’m newer to Shootproof and I’m looking to import all of my already booked clients & start invoices for them. I’m looking for a way to import from my notebook / planner into Shootproof of past payments they have already made to me. Is there a way this can be done? Thanks so much
I downloaded the upload app, and went through the process of uploading my file for my client (first time shootproof user) and it got to 17% after trying ALL day to upload images and just not working not uploading…. I went to bed, leaving it do it's thing, thinking it would be done by now. 7am and it's on 18%.… What the?! What the heck is going on? My images are between 25-30mbs Did not have this issue with pixieset, not a great introduction to shootproof
This is one of our MOST asked questions from photographers - just how easy is it to set gallery permissions to allow free digital downloads? Take a look and see for yourself! Setting Up Free Digital RulesThere are a handful of options for each free digital rule:Templates - We've given you some basic, highly-used formulas for free digitals. You can select one and then customize it to fit your needs!Digital Rule Name - Your clients will see this name in the gallery when selecting free digitals to download, so be sure to use a name or term that they will understand. We recommend keeping it simple! Many studios use names like Full Resolution or Social Size.Resolution - Specify the size of the file that the customer will receive. Original resolution will deliver the exact file you've uploaded to the gallery.Social size resolution will resize your files to 900px on the longest side.Custom size allows you to specify the pixels on the longest side, and ShootProof will resize the file before
Aspect ratio is simply a measurement of a photo's width to height - your DSLR camera most likely has a 3:2 ratio, but some cameras still use an aspect ratio of 4:3.When you submit a print order to one of our partner labs, you'll want to be certain that the crop you have approved during the Lab Approval Process is not cutting off a significant piece of the image. We do not shrink or resize any of your files before submitting them to the lab. Because cropping is inevitable when ordering certain print sizes, it helps to understand why and how each image will be affected when printing.Technically, there is an unlimited number of aspect ratios. But there are a few common aspect ratios every photographer should know. Read on here to find out the most popular aspect ratios, and how to crop your photos in both Lightroom and Photoshop should you need to!
