Hi all, New to Community. I did a search but couldn’t find an answer so thought I’d ask here. Is there a way to tie mobile apps to the contacts page? Meaning, currently when I click to “share” a mobile app, I then have to go to my contacts page, copy the email address, then go back to share mobile app to paste in the address. Is there a shortcut to email addresses in apps that I am overlooking? I’m hoping there's a setup for them like we have in the gallery email areas. Thoughts? Many thanks! Wendy
I have emailed shootproof and they claim that instant payouts still require a 2-5 day hold once a client pays their invoice but I know for a fact that is not right. I have always been able to instantly transfer money to my debit card via the instant payout feature…up until three days ago and now I no longer can. Does anyone know why this is happening???
is there a way to breakdown charges for a gallery so just like when i make an invoice and i can breakdown a charge like Photos $1, Aerial photos $2, Video $3 for a total of $6 instead when the client pays now they can only see total=$6 for services, i might be missing how to do this if its already a way to do it but i find it very difficult to breakdown the charges so the customer can see exactly what they are paying for when they click buy package on a gallery. Maybe someone can point me to some instructions. i can do this with no problem on “invoices” cant i attached an invoice to a gallery instead and have the customer pay for the invoice then have access to the gallery one paid.
I have done everything to resolve this on my end. My internet connect has a speed of 111mbps both upload and download (give or take a few, but in this range). I have rebooted LR, my computer, logged into and out of shootproof plugin, My computer, LR and my Shootproof plugin are all latest versions. It was all working fine, I updated a few galleries. Then, I imported new photos to LR, made new galleries and photo collections, then it was the 403 error. I can’t publish. Everything else on my computer and LR are working fine. I’m posting July 26th, 2022. I am not going to try to re-install my plug-in because that will delete all my galleries/photos I have uploaded through LR. If I can’t get an answer from ShootProof, I will have to go find another method/service.
So here is the problem...have a football team I am photographer for..cover 3 different age groups in same team. Have them divided up in categories (ie U16, U18, CJFL)...in each category have created galleries by game dates as folders with albums in each.I created price sheets all across the board the same and packages in each sheet...only problem is now there is no way to gather all the faved pics from each album and send to client. I have to go into each album and send email link for each.Is there away to group all faves from one client and send one link? Is it possible to delete an item from a client’s submitted order BEFORE I approve to be sent to the lab? I know I could go and self-fulfill all the items and then just not order the one product, but I want their price/total to correct and reflect the change before payment gets processed. I also tried clicking on Edit under the product but it does not give me the option to delete or remove from the order. Is it possible for me to delete the item or does the client have to login and do it from their end? Thanks
Is there a way to add custom templates for Free Digital Rules?All I see there are the defaults that ShootProof has. Generally, I like to give the option for full resolution along with one or two social media sizes (for example, 2048 pixels for Facebook, and 1080 pixels for Instagram), and right now I have to manually set these up. Would be awesome if there is a way to build our own templates; I don’t see this as an option currently.
I give vendors access to entire wedding galleries so they can select and download pics they want. Is there any way to have files renamed upon download (using their Vendor Rule I created)? I’ve heard back from vendors that they often don’t credit the photographer when using images because they can’t remember who the photographer was. So if they can download files and have them renamed to my studio name, then they can remember.
Hello everyone,I haven't been able to upload photos in Shootproof for a while now. Which is very annoying, because customers are waiting for it. Get a notification (see photo) that I've had before, but often it worked after that. Tried different browsers. But everywhere the same error. When I send an email to shootproof I get an email that they are 'working on it'.. but it takes me too long. Does anyone know what to do? Otherwise I'll have to switch unfortunately (which I'd rather not)Regards,Hendri (Netherlands)
Hi, I am in NZ and a GST registered company. I set up the taxes correctly for this but I see that the tax is being charged in addition to the price list pricing. I don’t really like that as customer will be thinking they’re getting the photos for x price only to get to check out and discover the extra cost of tax being added on top. The pricing I set was what I had envisioned as being the tax inclusive value. Is there any way to make it such?
Help!! I was working in one of my galleries, which had nearly 600 images in it, all in different folders. I uploaded a batch of 19 new images and suddenly those are the only images in the gallery. Every other image has disappeared. I did NOT delete these images. I need to recover my gallery! Has this ever happened to anyone else? What can I do??
A client has placed a print order that I need to approve, but one of the prints is cropped so that the subject’s head is cut in half. If the crop is simply moved up a bit, the problem would be solved. Is there any way for me to adjust that, or do I need to email the client (not even my client, it’s a relative ordering prints from the gallery), and then can they adjust it?Thank you,Heather
Hey ShootProof Team!I’ve been trying to connect with someone to get answers regarding some of my issues with the ShootProof platform. There are things I LOVE about ShootProof (the fact that you’re the ONLY platform I could find that integrates with my local lab - Technicare, for one). However, there are two major frustrations I’ve had working with ShootProof and waiting longer than a year for answers and changes to be made for those of us not based in the US is making me wonder if sticking with ShootProof is right for my business. Having the lab integration is nice, but it comes second to my payment functions as this affects my transactions with EVERY client (not just the few who choose to order prints through the gallery).My first issue (as discussed in the ideas forum) is the lack of payment integrations for international customers. We want Stripe or Square. We need options. We want something other than PayPal/BrainTree. We need something that’s more user friendly, has better custome
