Downloading images still asking for email .

 “Require visitors to enter an email address” “turned off”and there is nothing about collecting emails in “Free Digitals”i don’t want to collect emails .. and some clients are complaining about the “gallery page” asking for the email on every “download” click when they try to download their photos .fix this pls .. an option to turn off email collection on “Free Digitals”

When you create an invoice, do your terms and conditions appear on the invoice? There is no price sheet attached to an invoice so I wondered how they'd get them.

If you create an invoice, are your sales terms and conditions printed on the invoice?  I went to great lengths to create my terms for my price list.  When someone places an order, I assume my terms are viewable, but what about invoices?

we need auto sales tax NOW to be legally legit.

There are a few other threads about this that have been closed and are getting no responses so I am starting a fresh one. y’all - is there anyone else out there? Am I losing my mind? Does everyone have clients who happen to live in ONE location with the same sales tax rate? Do people just not do taxes? It’s blowing my mind that this has still not been addressed 🤯 Shootproof needs to have sales tax automatically calculated and charged based on the shipping address. Cloudspot takes care of this using TaxJar. Every legal e-commerce business manages to find a way to make this happen. I just reached out to them with this info and they directed me to post on this forum 😑 I have been asking about this for years and been told the following: 1. To charge sales tax just put the percentage you want  in the price sheet!! NOPE - this doesn’t work if you have people placing orders who live in different places, even just a county over. Need over a year to make translations provided to you?

Hi ShootProofI am writing to you once again, as it has now been over half a year since the last time, and over a year since I wrote to you about this problem the first time.You still haven't solved my very simple problem with the translations I provided you. In the meantime, you have had time to make a completely irrelevant update of your backend layout - which no one has asked for by the way. Over a year ago I was promised a solution, after being sent a form where I had to give you the translations.When are you going to take your own mistakes serious, and start fixing the problems by using the simple solutions provided by your costumers? The country should be pre-selected Denmark(In danish DANMARK).The correct translations are the following(you are welcome):First name: FornavnLast name: EfternavnCountry: LandAdress: AdresseApartment, Suite, ect. : NummerCity: ByZipcode: Postnummer

To lazy to translate?

How in the name of god can you be satisfied as a professional company with only translating CONTACT INFO to danish and not SHIPMENT DETAILES?Apparently my customers only need to be able to understand the first part? How unprofessional can a company even be?I can even provide you with the correct translation, and all you want to do is write it down as a feature request!It is not even a feature, it is simple logic!

Error 500

Hi AllI’m getting an Error 500 when going to my Checkout. The thing is I’m on a trail period and have opted for a paid plan that will start in a few days time after the trial finishes. The error is a bug from what I can see at the application server end and as such nothing I can do will resolve it. So, do I stick with Shootproof or run for the hills now as I won’t be putting up with these types of errors when I go into full commercial swing????From experience is this error likely to be taken seriously and dealt with?Regards, Gary

Desktop Gallery presentation is distracting with the new icon bar covering the bottom of every image

Has the default presentation in the galleries viewed on desktop changed?  I remember them looking like this (as displayed in examples on the Shootproof website).  I believe the fav, order, download icons showed up when you hovered on them.  Now they look like this (sample gallery taken from Shootproof's website), which in my opinion is a very messy presentation and also very undesirable because the icon bar covers a significant portion of the photo.    Is there any way to revert to the more simple presentation?  If not I will probably need to change to new gallery vendor, which would be such a shame since I have been a happy client for many years and do a a significant amount of sales and invoicing through Shootproof.  I’d hate to have to set everything up elsewhere, but I find this new presentation of the galleries unacceptable.  I believe it will hurt my sales I do with my volume work.

BayPhoto Wallet Cropping

I’m not sure why I’m left with such a large border when cropping the wallet sizes with BayPhoto.  This is the same for rounded and squared corners.  I have plenty of room to bring the crop to the top/bottom of the image but I have these squares in the corners that are preventing me from doing so.  I understand that the rounded corners need to be accounted for but that shouldn’t prevent me from cropping all the way to the top or bottom.  Any help is appreciated.

Blurry images. Will this ever be resolved?

If you search the questions here, you can find multiple posts about this going back to over a year ago. It’s an on-going issue that has not been solved due to the way galleries are coded to display images. I reached my limit today when a client asked why all of her photos appeared soft. Frustrated, I uploaded her gallery to Pixieset instead, and her images look TACK SHARP on their website. I am SO frustrated - Pixieset also has a cheaper unlimited plan. At this point, the only reason I’m staying with Shootproof is because I have over a hundred galleries uploaded here. WHY is Shootproof not prioritizing this issue? We are photographers. We want sharp image displays in our galleries for our clients. Please fix this?

How to auto email wedding clients at various increments leading up to the wedding?

I am finding that most of my wedding clients are leaving payments until very close to their wedding dates. Whilst they are very entitled to do this, it’s not great for cash flow for my business. I know I can send out trigger based emails but these are created via the gallery information. How can I do this based on the invoice information (i.e. wedding date, payment due date)

Invoicing

Is anyone else having problems having their invoices not save/attach to a contract? When I click on save, it will not allow me past the write up screen for the invoice. It no longer takes me into the email invoice screen.

Anybody else got a few problems lately?

It started with invoices not saving with a new templet that I made.  Today I found out that half of my scheduled email were not send. I set up a lot of emails as campaigns and wanted to check today, as I haven't received any feedback. I send an email to support weeks ago, but still havent heard anything back!

The order automatically groups digitals and prints together, but I’d like to deliver two separate files. How can I do this?Ex: they ordered a 5x7, which I will customize and send to the lab, and they also ordered a digital of the same image, which I sell as an 8x10, so another ratio...

Print credit codes that carry over to more than one shopping session

I know that if you create a Credit Discount promo code, they don’t retain a balance and you lose what you don’t spend.  I’ve been told by Shootproof Support that there is NOT a discount code that carries over from session to session.   Does anyone have a creative workaround to giving a client a print credit that carries over to more than one time of purchase? I don’t want them to lose their credit just because they’re not ready to spend it all at once.Thanks for your input!

Canadian Payments

CANADIANS! I need your help!What are you doing for Payment Processing? I have a BrainTree account, but honestly avoid processing payments on ShootProof as much as possible because I haven’t been overly impressed with BrainTree. I don’t like that I can’t access or update any of my own personal/business information on my account and it’s frustrating that I have to create a service ticket every time I have a question.When I started, I was hoping I could maybe wait it out with BrainTree until other options were made available… but I was recently told that ShootProof isn’t currently planning to provide additional payment gateways for Canadian/international users. 😭I like being able to offer print ordering directly through my galleries so that I don’t have to self-fulfil, but my irritation with BrainTree is getting to the point where I’m considering just closing that account and pulling all payment processing from ShootProof and moving it back to Stripe and Square.What do you do?Thanks!--Ka

What triggers the "opened" status for email last activity?

What is says in the title. I have recently had some emails where it appears they have opened the email 10+ times, but then asked me to resend the link because the hadn’t seen it. Is it possible if they’re using an email client/app, that it’s triggering the “opened” status?
