When you create an invoice, do your terms and conditions appear on the invoice? There is no price sheet attached to an invoice so I wondered how they'd get them.
If you create an invoice, are your sales terms and conditions printed on the invoice? I went to great lengths to create my terms for my price list. When someone places an order, I assume my terms are viewable, but what about invoices?
Need over a year to make translations provided to you?
Hi ShootProofI am writing to you once again, as it has now been over half a year since the last time, and over a year since I wrote to you about this problem the first time. You still haven't solved my very simple problem with the translations I provided you. In the meantime, you have had time to make a completely irrelevant update of your backend layout - which no one has asked for by the way. Over a year ago I was promised a solution, after being sent a form where I had to give you the translations. When are you going to take your own mistakes serious, and start fixing the problems by using the simple solutions provided by your costumers? The country should be pre-selected Denmark(In danish DANMARK).The correct translations are the following(you are welcome):First name: FornavnLast name: EfternavnCountry: LandAdress: AdresseApartment, Suite, ect. : NummerCity: ByZipcode: Postnummer
Hi AllI’m getting an Error 500 when going to my Checkout. The thing is I’m on a trail period and have opted for a paid plan that will start in a few days time after the trial finishes. The error is a bug from what I can see at the application server end and as such nothing I can do will resolve it. So, do I stick with Shootproof or run for the hills now as I won’t be putting up with these types of errors when I go into full commercial swing????From experience is this error likely to be taken seriously and dealt with?Regards, Gary
Hi there! We wanted to share a couple updates with this group. (1) We are moving our feature requests input to a new tool. This will be on site and more accessible. Find feature requests and other valuable info in the resource center (the lightbulb in the bottom right of your screen). Sharing your feedback just got a lot easier and we can't wait to hear from you! (2) We are also moving our community back to Facebook. We feel this is the best platform to connect with our members and the best place to foster an open dialogue. Our hope is that the focus of this group remains on photographers. This will mean we won't use this group as a place for support tickets or for feature requests, rather for building a community of peers that helps all photographers build successful and sustainable businesses as you focus on what matters most. The relaunched Facebook Community is live now, join us here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/shootproof Here are a few answers to potential questions on this
Desktop Gallery presentation is distracting with the new icon bar covering the bottom of every image
Has the default presentation in the galleries viewed on desktop changed? I remember them looking like this (as displayed in examples on the Shootproof website). I believe the fav, order, download icons showed up when you hovered on them. Now they look like this (sample gallery taken from Shootproof's website), which in my opinion is a very messy presentation and also very undesirable because the icon bar covers a significant portion of the photo. Is there any way to revert to the more simple presentation? If not I will probably need to change to new gallery vendor, which would be such a shame since I have been a happy client for many years and do a a significant amount of sales and invoicing through Shootproof. I’d hate to have to set everything up elsewhere, but I find this new presentation of the galleries unacceptable. I believe it will hurt my sales I do with my volume work.
BayPhoto Wallet Cropping
I’m not sure why I’m left with such a large border when cropping the wallet sizes with BayPhoto. This is the same for rounded and squared corners. I have plenty of room to bring the crop to the top/bottom of the image but I have these squares in the corners that are preventing me from doing so. I understand that the rounded corners need to be accounted for but that shouldn’t prevent me from cropping all the way to the top or bottom. Any help is appreciated.
Blurry images. Will this ever be resolved?
If you search the questions here, you can find multiple posts about this going back to over a year ago. It’s an on-going issue that has not been solved due to the way galleries are coded to display images. I reached my limit today when a client asked why all of her photos appeared soft. Frustrated, I uploaded her gallery to Pixieset instead, and her images look TACK SHARP on their website. I am SO frustrated - Pixieset also has a cheaper unlimited plan. At this point, the only reason I’m staying with Shootproof is because I have over a hundred galleries uploaded here. WHY is Shootproof not prioritizing this issue? We are photographers. We want sharp image displays in our galleries for our clients. Please fix this?
How to auto email wedding clients at various increments leading up to the wedding?
I am finding that most of my wedding clients are leaving payments until very close to their wedding dates. Whilst they are very entitled to do this, it’s not great for cash flow for my business. I know I can send out trigger based emails but these are created via the gallery information. How can I do this based on the invoice information (i.e. wedding date, payment due date)
The order automatically groups digitals and prints together, but I’d like to deliver two separate files. How can I do this?Ex: they ordered a 5x7, which I will customize and send to the lab, and they also ordered a digital of the same image, which I sell as an 8x10, so another ratio...
Print credit codes that carry over to more than one shopping session
I know that if you create a Credit Discount promo code, they don’t retain a balance and you lose what you don’t spend. I’ve been told by Shootproof Support that there is NOT a discount code that carries over from session to session. Does anyone have a creative workaround to giving a client a print credit that carries over to more than one time of purchase? I don’t want them to lose their credit just because they’re not ready to spend it all at once. Thanks for your input!
What triggers the "opened" status for email last activity?
What is says in the title. I have recently had some emails where it appears they have opened the email 10+ times, but then asked me to resend the link because the hadn’t seen it. Is it possible if they’re using an email client/app, that it’s triggering the “opened” status?
How are you all gathering parent contact info before school/sports shoots? I have done two school shoots in the past and relied on the school to give the parents my link and passwords but the parents never received it. This is a major problem, as you can guess. I need a better way to let the parents know the shoot is taking place and getting them the images and link after the shoot. Any help is greatly appreciated. In fact, know your entire Shootproof work flow from planning the school/sports shoot to final delivery of images would be appreciated as well.
Is anyone else experiencing issues with payments not submitting?
My client has tried to submit a payment via their invoice several times, but cannot get past the "submitting..." button after entering all of their information. As far as I know there are no error codes, nor failed payments showing up on my end. The shootproof status page shows everything as operational and I've reached out for help, but am curious if anyone else is experiencing this as well.
Print Release / Auto Email to Client
Hi there! I’m trying to find this email template on my end… it’s what was delivered to the client after they downloaded their FREE images from their gallery. The email title is “Print Release for Maria A. Family 2023 - Original”I have “deliver print release” turned off in the gallery, so I’m not sure where this came from, but I would like to edit it! I’ve looked in the gallery settings and email templates, but had no luck! Thanks for any help!
Disable Certain Types of Prints
How do you turn off, on individual photos, the Canvas Wrap as a print option in each gallery. Some of my landscapes will not work with a canvas wrap and I do not want to turn off canvas option to all of the galleries and limit my sales. If this is not an option it should be looked at.
how to assign two or more campaigns to a gallery?
I want to set up 3 reminders campaings to my gallery. 1) offers expires in two weeks2) offers expires in one week3) offers expires tomorrowI can’t find how to assign more than one.So, every time, I have to set a reminder for me to set up the “next” campaign… not very efficient?
Filter contracts by shoot date.
It seems bizarre to me that there is neither a field that shows shoot date within the list of created contracts, or an ability to filter the contracts by their due date. So that I can only see upcoming contracts.Or is it that I’m just missing it somewhere in the settings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Do clients get an email before theirnext installment date in their payment plan?
I set up a bunch of clients on payment plans and one asked me for a reminder. Is shoot proof not sending an email to them before their next due date? Is there a way to do an email campaign where clients get a reminder the week of their next installment? I see I can send an email individually, but that’s not even useful to have to do it manually. How can I do this in an efficient way?
