Commenting On Orders Has Arrived!

You wanted an easier way for clients to communicate about order items, and here it is! Now your clients can leave notes on individual items as they add them to their shopping carts 🎉Once enabled, your clients will see a text box beside each item in the shopping cart:Clients will have up to 500 characters to comment on specific photos. This way they can: Request additional cropping, edits, or retouching, etc  Request an image be converted to black and white Add the text they want included on customizable products Indicate to whom a particular item in the order should go Provide any details requested by the photographer, like a player’s name, jersey number, and position for sport volume photographers You can enable this feature on any gallery that has a Shopping Cart enabled. Just go to Gallery Settings > Shopping Cart, then toggle on “Allow clients to comment on items in cart.”.Want to enable this on a handful of existing galleries? It’s simple to do using Bulk Actions!  And if you’re interested in turning this option on in all of your galleries going forward, you can enable it in your Gallery Presets.  Improve the Client Experience With CommentingThis small but mighty update can help you improve your client experience as it: Streamlines communication Minimizes back-and-forth Helps you avoid the hassle of communicating with clients outside of ShootProof after an order has been made Where can I see my clients’ comments?Knowing an order has comments from your client is simple! Now you can select an expiration date for the banner, so you don’t have to remember to manually remove it, saving you valuable time! This feature is especially useful if you use banners to advertise promo codes with an expiration date.🤩 Did you know that clients’ free digital downloads now go directly to their device? Rather than wait for an email with a zip file of their images, clients can now easily download straight to their computer or mobile with one click. Of course we’ll still send them an email for backup, but clients ❤️ accessing their images quicker and easier, whether they’re on their computer or on the go!
