For sure on IOS devices, people are telling me and I confirmed, that the “DOWNLOAD” button for an image disappears once it’s pressed, without always going to the page to enter their email and download. So far every time clients have used the Digital Downloads features, it’s been troublesome. Are others using this feature without issue?

When I preview a gallery, the quality of the images is not good. I know they are tack sharp on my end but the gallery my clients see are not high quality. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting somewhere I need to change?I need my clients to see the quality of my work and right now that isn’t happening.
Hi, Is there a way to add multiple contacts to a gallery? For example, I shoot a lot of editorial content, and I often need to send the proofs to multiple people consistently - like the art director, project manager, retoucher, etc. Right now I can only assign one contact to the folder, and then I have to constantly manually add additional contacts. It would be much more convenient to assign multiple contacts to a gallery.
The last few galleries I have tried to upload, have been extremely slow! Like all night type slow. I recently downloaded the desktop uploader because I saw that is supposed to be faster and it is still taking a really long time. Is there any one else dealing with this? Does it have anything to do with the amount of galleries I already have in Shootproof?
Hello all! I know that SP is used mostly for individual customers, but I am also doing Volume photography for sports teams. at the moment I am only doing 2 leagues but have multiple teams. Are there any tips / tricks to upload each job as a gallery with individual folders per player and assign a contact? I have been using another service for volume and would like to keep everything in one place in my SP. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
ShootProof's Uploading SuiteTip of the Week
How do you upload your galleries to ShootProof? Uploading one of the most important components of ShootProof, if not the very most! One common misconception among new and old users alike is that there is only one way to upload photos to ShootProof. I’m here to shout from the rooftops that this isn’t true! While you can easily use the “Add Photos” button within the browser, there are actually three ways you can upload photos to ShootProof. In today’s Tip of the Week, I’m highlighting all three uploading methods, from easiest to most advanced. Upload Method #1: The Web Browser Simple. Fast. Easy. With this uploading method, you can upload right within your browser using the “Add Photos” button. Create a new gallery or open an existing galleries Select Add Photos and follow the prompts to choose your photos, select watermark settings and get them to the gallery quickly!PROS: Simple and easy Upload from anywhere Supports uploads from mobile devices Continue working in your ShootProof accou
I have an extra gallery that I want to make available for the client in exchange for Marketing me on her Instagram. So I decided to add watermarks to her pictures. So instead of Having to go into lightroom and exporting them with watermark, Abd uploading again, I wanted to add the watermark in Shootproof if possible. But it looks like the watermark is automatically removed when the clients download them. Is there a way to keep them? And have I understood corrrctly that I don’t need to remove watermark in Shootproof, as client Will not have them on downloaded images Anyway.
Does anyone use Fundy Designer for Wall Art and Album design and integrate it in their workflow with ShootProof? I currently use ShootProof for galleries and am thinking of beginning to do in person sales (or Zoom sales). Need a robust wall art and album design software so I can sell more to clients. I don’t want to invest in studio management software yet, but wonder if I can still make use of ShootProof for contracts and email to clients, then use Fundy to design and show during my sales consult. Fundy would produce a detailed invoice for me to take client payment and give them copy of invoice. Then could I go into ShootProof and produce just a one line item invoice to take payment? I would place print and album orders for Millers Lab directly through Fundy, but wall art orders would be placed manually, as Fundy doesn’t have a direct order relationship with the lab I use. Any suggestions?
Save time with the Desktop UploaderTip of the Week
Did you know we have a separate tool to upload photos to ShootProof? If you’ve solely been using the ‘Add Photos’ button in your browser to upload, stop right now and download the ShootProof Desktop Uploader! It’s quicker, more efficient, and you can even queue up multiple galleries so that when one finishes, the next gallery starts uploading right away. The Desktop Uploader works wonders if you have a slow or intermittent internet connection. Instead of stalling the upload, the Uploader will pause and resume the upload as soon as the connection is restored. But the best part about the Uploader Tool? -- It’ll organize your galleries and sort the photos into albums based on how they’re organized on your computer. So, if you have a folder called “The Smith Wedding” on your computer, and in that folder, you have subfolders like “Getting Ready,” “Family Portraits,” etc, the Uploader Tool will automatically create albums within the ShootProof gallery. The albums will be named to match the s
I have a gallery with multiple clients. Each client is in their own album. I would like to offer each client 2 digital downloads for free. (actually it was included in the cost they have already paid me). I see that I can offer free digitals to a LINKED client; however since I have multiple clients in one gallery that won’t really work. I see that I can offer free limited digitals to all visitors to a particular album, either with a PIN or without, but unfortunately I will not be able to limit how many total downloads are taken. This is concerning because I don’t want my clients to keep returning to their albums over and over again with different email addresses and downloading more than their 2 allotted digital photos. I really wish I could limit the TOTAL number downloaded per album, the way I could at the gallery level. Or, alternately, I really wish I could have a linked contact for each ALBUM, not just for each GALLERY. Another wish would be that I could use a promo code for
Hi!I was wondering how fast can you create 500 album in one school gallery… I did one by one in lightroom to put the name of each child. Is there a way to improve my workflow?I know scans and bare codes and apps but this would not work with shootproof I think? If somone could tell how they do this without loosing their mind :) Thanks in advance for your time! Hi All! I’m new to shootproof and to selling prints. I’m working through setting up my price sheets and i’m wondering about the lab costs of Miller’s fine art prints. On Miller’s site, fine art prints are about $5 for an 8x10 yet on the price sheet in shootproof the lab cost for the same is $30. Does “Fine Art” refer to something besides just a giclee print? Why the price discrepancy in lab cost? Thanks!
Hi, I cant seem to download images from the gallery in the black and white filtering. Is there a reason why I can’t? it says clients can view and order in BW filtering but I can’t seem to find the button where they can and when I download the gallery it only comes in colour. Thanks
The Download All button is missing from the clients view. I have checked and rechecked my settings but no luck. The client also does not have the ability to download individual photos. I have never had this issue before. Gallery settings are the same as I have done for previous galleries with no issues.
Hey friends. Here’s a question brought about by COVID-19. We shoot a large dance studio every year and use paper order forms. Simple and effective. However, this year we are encouraged to keep physical contact to a minimum which means no paper forms. My plan is to send a private gallery to each student (or class) with the options to purchase both digitals and prints of the individual and the team (i.e. Purchase a digital individual AND Team for one price and/or purchase a print package of an individual AND team). In setting up my print packages I cannot determine how to include a team photo with the package. Surely there’s a way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Within free digital downloads, Shootproof offers "Full Resolution" or "Social Size” as well as custom sizing. Shootproof’s social size is set at 900px. Is that acceptable for posting to FaceBook and Instagram quality-wise? I always thought social sizing needed to be set at 2048px. Thanks!
Would love to hear if anyone is purchasing Black Friday sales from Shootproof. I quickly glanced the the packages are confusing and must be upgraded from what I’ve originally purchased. I’m at the 25k upload package and currently paying $30/month but its looking like that package is currently $40/month even on the sale. Am I missing something?
