Mobile Apps and Contacts

Question

Hi all,

New to Community. :relaxed: I did a search but couldn’t find an answer so thought I’d ask here. Is there a way to tie mobile apps to the contacts page? Meaning, currently when I click to “share” a mobile app, I then have to go to my contacts page, copy the email address, then go back to share mobile app to paste in the address. Is there a shortcut to email addresses in apps that I am overlooking? I’m hoping there's a setup for them like we have in the gallery email areas.

Thoughts?

Hi @WendyHodge,Welcome to the community! We are super glad to have you here and hope you enjoy everything it has to offer :)I created a gallery and linked a contact, I then went and created an app and linked it to the same gallery; however, when I went to share the app, I had to fill in the email address manually. I think you are wanting that part to auto-fill with the linked contact right? Or are you wanting to be able to dropdown a list of all contacts?Currently neither option is available though, so what I would suggest is to go to the ideas.shootproof.community forum and search to see if this feature is already requested and upvote it. If it isn’t there, you can request this feature in that forum. I hope this helps you out, let me know if I can answer any other questions.Thanks!

Yes I would like to be able to link the mobile app to my contact for sharing.
