Hey there,I uploaded bulk edited photos from LR and then used the SP slideshow to cull down further. I tried to copy the file names in the favorites back to LR so I can finish editing and re-upload the culled group to SP. However, there’s a hyphen in the file names that, I think, is preventing me from searching the file names in LR. Is there a way to change file names in SP for export? Or is there a way to export file names of “favorites” to a data file? Or other ideas? I was using this strategy, but backwards, so it’s not working:https://www.shootproof.com/blog/shootproof-favorites-lightroom/ Thanks for any insight!
Hi there, just wondering if i can move albums around once uploaded through the desktop uploader? the desktop uploader only gives the option to select a gallery. i need to upload the set of albums into a customers gallery. I.E Rodney/ March Event June Event etc… David/ March event July Event alternatively if i can upload the event straight into the clients folder it would be great using the desktop uploader. events have multiple days and galleries hence the required use of desktop uploader for the folder creation. Appreciate your help.
I would love to be able to assign different price sheets to multiple albums within a gallery. I have not figured out how to do this. Is this possible and if not, why don’t we have this feature. It seems it would be very easy to add. I have to end up making multiple galleries for the same school. One example would be that I upload images for a soccer team. Then I use those same images on other templates that I sell as only larger images (16x20 or 20x30) only. Being able to assign more than 1 price list would solve this problem and allow me to have fewer galleries or have my parents look in multiple places to find their photos. Thanks.
I want to include my watermark for the free digitals download of web sized files, but I’d like to give my clients the option of purchasing full resolution files without the watermark. Is that possible? I also want to make sure that if my clients order prints they won’t have my watermark.
Hi - I’m new here, so please forgive me if this is a very basic question… I just did a shoot for a local landscaping company. My fee covers the digital files, so I don’t want them to have to go through any paywall. I set up a gallery and sent the client a link that allows digital downloads. BUT, as I’m checking out the link myself, I don’t see anyway to download an entire gallery or album. Is there a way to quickly do this? I see how to download one-by-one, but there are a lot of them… Thanks!
I'm trialing shootproof right now for our end of year photos and need some help with the commerce side of it. If I choose a lab, how much do they charge for printing and shipping and what's the turn around? If I choose to offer digital download only, do i create my own price sheet? and do I include shootproof fulfilled digitals or self-fulfilled digitals?Basically I want the customer to access their designated album with a password, add photos to their cart, pay for them, then receive them in an email to download. or do you just offer digital download only? Also, does it automatically add the tax % on top of the total price in the cart at the end or does it take the tax % out of each individual print price? I am based in Australia :)
I have it set so that a customer has to login with their email along with a password. When they go in to do this it starts to log in but then kicks them back to the login screen. I’ve tried it on my android, computer with IE and Chrome and it keeps doing the same to me as well. Any ideas?
Hello, I am considering using shootproof to start accepting payments from my clients. I am currently using Quickbooks because of its accounting abilities but would love to be able to have everything automated and in one place- this bouncing back and forth is daunting. Does shootproof offer a print out with the breakdown in sales come tax season? This is the only thing that is holding me back and I can't seem to find the answer.
Hello guys! I love shoot proof experience. My client asked me: David so what If I want to have this viewing experience for life (she means for many years)? *(this comment goes for this community) First of all, I deliver the shoot proof gallery for the clients, and eventually they receive a usb if they want to; they might save them on their hard drives, and I also keep a copy for Me. So Is there someone here that keep gallery's for life? or do you guys recommend them to look for a different third storage company, exclusively for them clients? I am wondering if Shoot Proof will create a platform for life experience for them or not. Any suggestions is appreciated! Best Regards David C.-
Over 80% of my clients “severely” struggle with the downloading step where you enter your pin number. On my site the field where you enter the number isnt visible unless your cursor is hovering over it. Is there a way we can change that, am I the only one who struggles with this. Like 4/5 emails a week and phone calls explaining this to customers.
Hello I am looking to set up a site for myself and would prefer not to have to self-fulfill my prints. I see that there are two Australian print labs (Atkins Pro Lab or HC Pro Lab) that provide prints for NZ customers and I wondered if anyone had feedback on there service and associated costs for photographers in NZ. Also, any other alternative options or advice appreciated. Thanks Debbie
Hello! I am starting into school photography. I would like to find a way to offer the pictures online as well. Is there a way to send pictures to each parent, but only have it so that they can see their child? I would be working with school with about 300 kids, so hopefully something easy and convenient. Also, how will taxes work with schools? The schools in NY state are tax exempt. Does anyone here work in NY with schools and know how to deal with taxes? Thank you!
Hi!I would like my clients to login on my website, and then view their images directly on my site.I tried the “photos - > tools → login widget”. This would be great, but as soon as they login they are redirected to shootproof.I also tried the subdomain options and direct embed code, but unfortunately this only works if I show all of my client galleries. I don’t want clients to be able to see the full list of every gallery in my shootproof.Basically I want my clients to visit a page on my website. See a “email address and password” boxes. Enter the details, and have their gallery open up all in the same page. Not be taken off my site to shootproof. Is this possible? Thanks!
Dear friends, I have been using Shoot proof thru my iPad, marked some FAVORITES but when I come to my desktop doesn’t recognize any favorites. Still appears at the iPad. I also have clients selecting some favorites thru their private access BUT I can’t see what they have selected. Would u Kindly help me with this? Many thanks
Hi there, I’m setting up a manual price sheet for a sale I’m about to launch for past clients (gotta try and generate some extra income while we have NO shoot income at the moment).I have 6 different print sizes and I want to offer 6 different wood finishes / colours for the frames, for each print size. Is this possible without having to create a separate listing for every frame size and finish? So I would have 6 print sizes. Then 6 frame colours / finishes and you can choose your frame size from a drop down list or something?
I have added descriptions and images to my price sheet (what is a deep matte print vs. standard print for the description, and an image that shows the relative size of photos) . However, they don’t display on the price sheet when the client orders photos! Is there a way to get this information to show on the price sheet, or is there another place in the gallery where I can list this information?
Hi, I offer a package to my clients that includes digitals, and 2 different sized prints. Is there a way for me to include each of these in a single discount code? I have been using 2 different codes, one for digitals, and one for prints, however I have a discount that offers two 5x7 prints and one 8x10 and I can’t figure out a way to put all the prints under one code since it is two of one size and one of another. Thanks for the help.
