What happens to our suggestions?

Just curious. I’d like to know when/if requested features or improvements are introduced based on the submissions and votes of your users. I apologise if this sounds a bit snarky but there rarely seems to be any information passed on to users related to updates with requested  features.

Hi @FainCowie!

I love this question. You’ll notice some changes coming soon to the Ideas area as we are updating the way we are using the ideas to inform our product decisions. We’ll have new statuses soon that offer more insight into where an idea is in the consideration/implementation process - we realized our status could be better, so we are changing them! Ideas are shared with our Chief Product Officer and our Product Managers, as well as other members of the company. There are some other updates we’re considering, and since you have a discerning viewpoint, I’d love if you’d offer your thoughts. I’ll tag you in the post with the link!

I know a lot of people are always excited to see new feature updates, especially when it is something we are really wanting. I do see the developers commenting on a lot of posts in the Ideas! section, and there is a lot of testing that goes into developing new features. I always see posts in the ShootProof News & Announcements section when they have new features and updates.

If you check the titles in the Ideas! section, it also shows - Open for Voting - Future Consideration - Launched. I am not sure what else they could do to update the community that wouldn’t take time away from working on the features. If you have any suggestions, you could always put it here and see what they think.
