Hi, since a recent update on my iMac I can no longer hear the playlist I have added to client slideshows when I preview their galleries. Anyone else found this issue? Anyone know how to fix?

Hey @JennyBeckett I’m trying to wrap my head around this because it’s so strange. Can you tell me if you do hear other things through your iMac in other programs? Or is this just limited to ShootProof?

Hi it just seems to be with Shootproof - sound works fine via my mac in other programs

I wonder if the software update reset browser-level permissions for sound? If you’re using Safari, try clicking on “Safari” in the upper left hand corner, and check “Settings for this Website” and see if there are speaker settings that are off.

I'm having the issue too and it’s driving me insane!! If I access the gallery on my phone and click on slideshow music plays. I also sent gallery to a friend to test out and music plays fine on her pc. Sound is playing from my MacBook with everything else just not shootproof!  Did you have any joy figuring out what issue is yet?

I updated the Safari settings and still no joy with shootproof. When I click on the volume icon in the corner of a slideshow it comes up with some sort of unsafe java script message but nothing I can click on to fix.

Do we have any update on this? I have been told that it is due to the latest Apple update but it is loosing the whole ‘experience’ for clients viewing slideshows on Apple phones (which most of mine seem to be trying to do!)

I am having the same issue as well with music not playing in the galleries on my Mac (laptop) which has been updated to the new iOS system. I have tried everything, but it is still not working…. Hope to get this resolve soon since I am having a bunch of clients review appointments in the coming weeks! Thank you for your support!

Has anyone had any luck yet with this issue? I’ve tried everything and no luck with sound.

I’m having the same issue however, reversed. The music plays on my computer and my clients but it won’t play on their phones..Any solution?

Just came on to check on the same issue. I will just tell my clients to open in another browser until there is a fix.
