I'm trialing shootproof right now for our end of year photos and need some help with the commerce side of it. If I choose a lab, how much do they charge for printing and shipping and what's the turn around?
If I choose to offer digital download only, do i create my own price sheet? and do I include shootproof fulfilled digitals or self-fulfilled digitals?
Basically I want the customer to access their designated album with a password, add photos to their cart, pay for them, then receive them in an email to download. or do you just offer digital download only?

Also, does it automatically add the tax % on top of the total price in the cart at the end or does it take the tax % out of each individual print price? I am based in Australia :)

These are fantastic questions, @MadeleinePrice

If I choose a lab, how much do they charge for printing and shipping and what's the turn around?

Turn around times are best found on the individual lab websites, but pricing you can find within your ShootProof account. Head to Commerce > Pricing > Create Price Sheet. If you know what items you want to sell, then select blank. If you’d like to see what’s common, choose the first option.  In Australia you have the choice between Atkins Pro Lab and HC Pro. I’m based in the US and don’t have personal experience with either, so maybe someone else from Australia will chip in on that! Once you’ve selected the lab, name the sheet, and it will auto populate with commonly sold items! You can click through the different Item Groups on the left side of the screen and see the items and lab cost as you move through. The Price is where you set the price your clients will see and pay.

If I choose to offer digital download only, do i create my own price sheet? and do I include shootproof fulfilled digitals or self-fulfilled digitals?

If you choose to offer digitals only, and don’t include them in the cost of your services, then you’ll create a blank price sheet with either lab, open the Digitals item group, and set up your digital offerings there. If you upload fully edited, ready-to-go images into the gallery, then ShootProof fulfilled can handle the delivery of the digitals for you! If you’re uploading proofs that need further editing once purchased, you’ll want to self-fulfill them.

Basically I want the customer to access their designated album with a password, add photos to their cart, pay for them, then receive them in an email to download. or do you just offer digital download only?

This is what ShootProof-fulfilled digitals will do for you!

Also, does it automatically add the tax % on top of the total price in the cart at the end or does it take the tax % out of each individual print price?

At the top of each Price Sheet, there is an info dashboard. Tax is located here- click on the percentage and set your tax percentage in the menu that appears.

Your setup should look like this- Click into the Digitals Item Group, and you should see ShootProof fulfilled digitals, but likely not turned on. You want to turn on Individual Photos  and All Photos in the Gallery, and set your prices accordingly.

Thanks Megan

I’ve set this up but have tried it out myself and have noticed if i choose 8 photos and not the whole gallery it calculates to $80. Is there a way it can automatically calculate the maximum price to $60 without selecting the whole gallery?
