I have it set so that a customer has to login with their email along with a password.  When they go in to do this it starts to log in but then kicks them back to the login screen.  I’ve tried it on my android, computer with IE and Chrome and it keeps doing the same to me as well.  Any ideas?

Hi @KevinCampbell,

Just to clarify, when they enter their email address/password and hit enter, it is kicking them back to the login screen? I would verify the login credentials because I’ve seen it where someone has changed their color scheme that hides error messages and it could just be a simple problem. Have you tried changing the password to test it out?

Thanks,

Hi @KevinCampbell

i have the same problem.

What i found out about this is that it has to do with 3rd cookies blocked by the browser  . This is because we want to keep the client logged into the gallery that is an iframe on our website.

You can see way the browsers are doing that here:

It seems to me that shootproof has no solution for this, yet..

Had the same problem, visitors could login to gallery with email & view albums in firefox, but not in chrome or edge when using iframe, tries to open with a bit of a flash of the next page, but kept going back to gallery login screen.

Tried changing all sorts of tags & CSS & a even anew clean iframe page to embed it in, but still would cycle back to gallery login page.

The solution I found to get pages working across browers, (or the cause of the problem) was if I i disabled requiring people to login with email at the front end to a view gallery, everything worked & flowed through across 3 different browsers…..!

Not exactly a fix, just removed the problem and all is not lost with tracking because for any download or purchase the viewer is prompted for email at that stage which works.

Half an hour after I fixed this I had sales after 4 days of no traffic!

Suprised not documented elsewhere as shootproof is well thought out & functional experiance, spot on 99% of time from a photographers point of view & I am looking to maximise it potential, but hope this work-around helps someone before they pull all their hair out!
