Hey everyone! Let me introduce myself!!
I’m Edel - that’s my attempt at “casual coffeeshop headshot posing”. Nailed it. Hi everyone!This is my FIRST post!! (Can you tell I’m a little excited?) If you’ve ever watched The Simpsons, you’ll know that the character Troy Mc Clure regularly introduces himself with the line “You may know me from….. and seen me in…..” Well, I am not as well known as Troy Mc Clure but some of you MAY have seen me around the Cole’s Classroom or Táve communities - I am a mentor and community engagement specialist for all three of the Foreground brands (Shootproof being the third brand obviously!) So what do I do here? Well - help hopefully! My role is to make sure that the questions you ask go to the right place to get answered, and hopefully, to make this community a fun and inspiring (and educational!) place to be! How to: edit your own postF.A.Q.
If you made a mistake while writing your post or need to add more information, you can edit the post. If you’re a new member, the time you have to edit a post is about an hour. That time will increase the longer you are a community member. Go to the post you want to change. Hover your mouse over the three dots on the right bottom corner, and click on "Edit": Note: If you’re unable to edit a post and need information removed (such as personal information), flag the post for a Moderator. If you need to add info and can’t edit the post, make a comment on the post.
How to: add images and videos to your postsF.A.Q.
Want to share photos? Of course you do. Upload images You can upload images to your post by clicking on the small camera icon in the text editor: All common file formats for images are supported (.png, .jpg, .gif) When you upload your image file, it will automatically embed into your post. You can move it by hovering over the image and clicking on the [+] icon that appears at the top left corner of the image, then dragging the image to the correct line in the post. Embed videos Adding videos to your post can be done by clicking on the ellipses icon in the text editor: And then select “Embed Media” from the menu that appears. You can add videos from Youtube, Vimeo ,and Dailymotion by pasting the original video url.
How to: flag a post for reviewF.A.Q.
When you see a topic or a comment you think needs to be reported, click the three dots on the bottom right of a post, and click on "Flag": Why should a post be reported? ⚠️If it contains any of the following: Spam Advertisement Soliciting Harassment Private information (Email address, phone number, etc.) Any other content which is in conflict with our Terms and Conditions If you’re uncertain whether or not you should report a topic or a comment, flag it so a Moderator can review it as soon as possible and will decide further steps, if necessary.

Ready to post a topic or question? Here’s how:Tip: Try searching first to see if your question is being discussed in an already existing topic.Finding the right place for your topic First, you will have to select the correct category your question is related to. If your question is about using ShootProof, photography, or business strategies, then start a new topic in How Do I, How Do You? If you’re offering a job to be done, then start a new topic in Work Offered. And if you are have a resource to share for challenging times, then start a new topic in Resources When We Need Them Most. Once you are in the right category and board, you can simply click on "Ask question / Start topic" next to your profile picture: Choose if your topic is a question or a conversation 📝 Decide if your topic is a question or a conversation. A conversation is a normal discussion topic. If you make your topic a question, you can mark a reply from another user as the answer. This will help other users who are
How to: manage your email notificationsF.A.Q.
You can control the email notifications you receive from the community, to ensure you see what matters most to you. 💌General settings for notifications You receive notifications of topics or categories which you have selected as Favorites. Topics you have started are set as Favorites by default, but you can change this in the settings on your Profile page: Note: This will not unsubscribe you when you have subscribed to an entire category. You have the option to subscribe or unsubscribe in each category. Notifications for specific topics You can follow an individual topic by clicking the Follow Topic button at the bottom of the post.
