Client orders not confirming

My client is trying to place an order through their gallery and when she does all the proper steps and enters her payment info and she clicks place order, she doesn’t get a confirmation on her order.

This is happing to me also and it is costing me a lot of headaches, time and money. 


It happens to me when testing also.I have reported this issue to Shootproof a weekago as I thought it was just clients using the site properly at first.

Same here. I had one case where the client did get a confirmation within Shootproof - but no email confirmation or link to download the digitals and I did not receive an order within my dashboard. However her credit card did get processed! I could see the items in her cart - but no record of the order. I received the payment. Now all of my clients are having issues where they cannot even click the Place Order button - it does nothing.

Yup, it is a known issue now with support. 

I received two solutions from support:

 

  • Tell clients to refresh their shopping cart page and that might work
  • Tell them not us Safari or Google Chrome as a browser
