I work with some companies that have separate departments that handle paying an invoice. I need to be able to CC the project manager to approve the invoice along with the accounting department. There is no option for me to add emails when sending an invoice. It only allows 1 email. I have to create a PDF and send it to them via email instead of through shootproof. Is there a away around this that I am missing?
Hey ShootProof Team!I’ve been trying to connect with someone to get answers regarding some of my issues with the ShootProof platform. There are things I LOVE about ShootProof (the fact that you’re the ONLY platform I could find that integrates with my local lab - Technicare, for one). However, there are two major frustrations I’ve had working with ShootProof and waiting longer than a year for answers and changes to be made for those of us not based in the US is making me wonder if sticking with ShootProof is right for my business. Having the lab integration is nice, but it comes second to my payment functions as this affects my transactions with EVERY client (not just the few who choose to order prints through the gallery). My first issue (as discussed in the ideas forum) is the lack of payment integrations for international customers. We want Stripe or Square. We need options. We want something other than PayPal/BrainTree. We need something that’s more user friendly, has better custome
I’m a little confused by the new print store, Collage. It says we earn 20% of every sale.WHAT? Why would I choose that?If I do the traditional print store, and sell a print for (example) $10, but it costs me $1 to get from the lab. Then I make $9.But if I do the print store by collage, I would only make $2! I am really thinking I must be confused bc why would anyone choose that option???
Hi ShootproofWe have just discovered that the checkout suddenly is not translated correctly into Danish, when we use it in our galleries. When our customers change the selected country to Denmark, it only translates City and zip code. The country should also be pre-selected. The correct translations are the following(you are welcome):First name: FornavnLast name: EfternavnCountry: LandAdress: AdresseApartment, Suite, ect. : NummerCity: ByZipcode: Postnummer We are awaiting the changes, as it looks really unprofessional to out customers as it is right now.
I am a photographer of 31 years. I am semi-retired now but still love working in photography and still get calls from previous clients and from my website. I no longer have a large staff or big studio space. since I am only doing a few sittings a week, I am doing all the digital work myself. I am really rusty on photoshop and slow, plus this is the least favorite part of the job for me. I could use a good editor/designer. My previous designer has left the business and moved on to new endeavors. Can anyone recommend a person or a business that does digital editing?
Does Shootproof automatically send clients a courtesy email notification as contacts and invoices approach their due date?
I have had several clients lately who have missed their due dates for signing contracts and paying invoices. Does Shootproof automatically notify them via email the day before or so before the contract or invoice is due? Is there something I'm missing when creating contracts and invoices that I should be checking in order for a courtesy email reminding clients of a quickly approaching due date?
It is so unprofessional to send out an invoice out that doesn’t/can’t list the client’s company name on it.How do I include the business name of my client on their own invoices? The information is captured on the contact form. So what is the variable? Thanks in advance. Hard to use this system with such a basic deficit that front faces my clients.
Is anyone else having this issue? I have several clients who order photos, get their credit card charged but no order shows up on our system. I only find out about it when the clients complains to see where their order is that they paid for. I am using Braintree as a payment processor.
Hi,Does anyone use Shootproof and use Paypal for client payments in the UK?Everytime a customer fills in their card details as a guest, their payment is declined.Paypal say its shootproof and shootproof say to contact Paypal.Anyone had this problem and fixed it?Thanks in advance.
My client has placed an order for a canvas and prints. Based on the crop for the canvas and the wrap, I needed to expand the image so it wouldn’t crop off a head. However, I don’t want this same edited image used for the prints, I want the original image used. I can’t seem to fix this, it is replacing the image in all of the orders, or not at all.
When I placed the order I needed to for my studio at my cost, I went to pay and it won't let me pay. It says that the order total is $90.51 but won't let me pay anything on it. It shows the total in the review and when I go to the orders page it shows unpaid. Help because this is a reorder from me just not cropping correctly and I’m already lateen getting it to the customer. Thanks and I appreciate you all.
For grad packages where a print unit could be multiple sizes, is there anyway to handle this within packages? For example, an order might include 4 units. Those units could be any combination of (1) 8x10, (2) 5x7, or (4) 4x6, for example. The only thing I could figure out was to make a Product which was “Print Unit” and allow so many of those units in a Package. This tells me what images they want, but there is no way for the client to enter the size. I also need to be able to restrict how many poses they can order from. Ex: 8 print units from 3 poses is a package I offer.Anyone have any ideas for how to make this smoother?
Hi, In my state I only need to charge sales tax on the printed products. I offer packages with a set number of prints and varying number of digital files. While I can invoice this appropriately upfront by creating 2 separate line items(taxable and non taxable), upon gallery delivery Shootproof cannot seem to accommodate this sales tax situation. I only want it to tax the prints in my package. Is there anyway to do this? Seems like it should be an option. Or maybe someone knows of a work around? I’ve tried several different price list setups and the system never applies the correct tax.Customer service suggested I attach a price list with just the prints and create a digital rule in the gallery but that would hinder the client from easily upgrading to a higher digital package if I am restricting them to a certain number in the system. Additionally- do they have to input a PIN for every download? Seems so cumbersome. This should be easier and I have spent WAY too much time trying to f
I have been trying instant payout I have changed my settings to daily payouts and yet I’m still not getting my money. If this feature is not working or has this issue often I will be forced to go with other options. This service isn’t exactly inexpensive and I do like some of the features. I would really rather not have to go to another proofing company. If someone could let me know why I’m not getting my money I would appreciate it.
