Replacing Files Prior to Confirming Print Orders

To Print This Image as an 8x10 It Needs a Wider MarginDid you know that you can replace files once a client has ordered a print product? This feature is one of the ways that clients receive a better experience and product when ordering through me. When they place their order, I go into Shootproof to approve their order. Sometimes, they will have chosen a crop factor that doesn’t go well with the way that I delivered the photo. This most often happens when they order an 8x10 as they lose a portion of the photo on each horizontal edge. In this case, I hop back into LR and more often than not, I can recrop the image to 8x10 and keep the important portions of the photo that would have been cropped out on the original order. I then swap in that file for the one they ordered and the client receives a perfectly fitted image!

Custom Trigger-Based Email Campaigns use email templates written by you that are scheduled to send a certain number of days before or after certain gallery trigger dates, like Expiration Date, Gallery Release Date, or Order Due date. Click "New Email Campaign" and give it a name (such as "Wedding Campaign" or "Newborn Client Campaign")4. Select the following:Email template - choose the template you'd like sentTrigger Type - tell the system know when to send the emailTrigger Days - choose the number of days for the trigger aboveAudience - select who will receive the email(such as "all visitors to a gallery")5. How Often Do you Post?

Keeping Social Media Profiles Updated Keeping up with social media can feel like a full-time job all on its own! As I was scheduling updates for Pinterest and Facebook and realizing I hand’t touched buy instagram this week, I was wondering how often everyone posts to each of their profiles.Do you post daily? Multiple times a day? A few times per week? Which platforms do you use the most? Do you try to stay consistent on all of them or have one main one and a few you update periodically? Or have you taken this off your plate altogether and hired a social media manager? I’ll go first: I try to post to my Pinterest account once per week, my instagram 3 times per week and my Facebook 5-6 times per week. It can be a lot, so I have found that scheduling those posts really helps to free up my mind during the week.

Spring Senior PhotosI can’t wait for this week’s webinar. As the weather warms up this Spring, Senior photography will begin to pick up. I find that some seniors prefer to wait until closer to graduation for their photos. Especially if their school handles the yearbook ones anyway.
